Returning Home Fund

I'm very good at not using credit cards when travelling but once I return home.. If you are returning to a job or very confident of getting one before the date your credit card is due I may not bother with cold hard cash on this one.

However you should consider potential expenses such as :

• Accommodation costs. Temporary accommodation while you remove the tenants or rent in advance and rental bond payments. You may need to pay bonds to have utilities connected again.
• Moving costs. To have your furniture returned from storage.
• Vehicle expenses. To purchase another one or to have the car that's been in storage serviced and re-registered for use.
• You still need to eat and drink until you start up work again.
